Elyra uses Privy for authentication and wallet management. This means you can sign in with familiar methods — email, Google, or phone number — without needing to set up a crypto wallet before you can use the platform.Documentation Index

Sign-in methods
When you click Sign in on try.getelyra.xyz, Privy presents three authentication options:| Method | How it works |
|---|---|
| Privy sends a one-time verification code to your email address | |
| Standard Google sign-in flow | |
| Phone number | Privy sends a one-time verification code via SMS |
Automatic wallet provisioning
After your first sign-in, Privy automatically creates a Solana wallet for you if you do not already have one connected. This wallet is ready to receive and send funds immediately — no seed phrase, no browser extension, no manual setup required. Your wallet address appears in the navbar as soon as Privy finishes provisioning it. This typically happens in a few seconds.Key custody and cryptographic sovereignty
Your private keys are stored in Privy’s Hardware Security Module (HSM) custody. This has two practical consequences:- Elyra cannot access your keys. Your private keys are not stored in Elyra’s application layer and are not accessible to Elyra’s infrastructure. The signing process happens inside Privy’s custody layer.
- Nothing moves without your approval. Every consequential on-chain action — swaps, perpetuals orders, DeFi deposits — requires your explicit confirmation. Elyra previews the full transaction before submitting it. You retain cryptographic sovereignty at all times.
Session management
Your session persists across page reloads. You do not need to sign in again each time you open Elyra. To sign out, open the profile menu in the top-right corner of the navbar and click Log out. Your wallet and account remain intact — signing out only ends the current browser session.Daily prompt credits
Each authenticated account receives 5 assistant prompt credits per 24-hour window on the free tier. Each message you send to the Elyra assistant consumes one credit. Credits reset automatically every 24 hours from the time your current window started. You can see your remaining credits in the navbar next to your wallet balance. When credits are exhausted, the trading terminal is locked until the window resets — no action is needed on your part. The 24-hour window is tied to your account, not to the calendar day. If you first use a credit at 3:00 PM, your credits reset at 3:00 PM the following day.
